RedOwl selected for the Buy Australian AI Partnership

RedOwl has been selected as a National Digital Track participant in the Buy Australian AI Partnership, marking a new milestone in its work to build trusted AI for Australian finance teams.
Delivered by Stone & Chalk, with the National AI Centre as Principal Sponsor, the partnership is a free initiative designed to help Australian AI startups and scaleups build pathways into enterprise across banking, insurance and superannuation.
According to Stone & Chalk, financial services is one of Australia’s most active sectors for AI adoption. Banks, insurers and superannuation funds are exploring how AI can improve customer outcomes, lift productivity and address high-value business problems. Adoption, however, requires more than strong technology: companies also need the security, governance and implementation capability to navigate enterprise evaluation, approvals and procurement.
Building enterprise readiness
The National Digital Track gives Australian AI companies access to expert advice, industry insights and digital activities to strengthen their understanding of financial services and enterprise requirements. The partnership’s practical support covers four areas: safe and responsible AI, regulatory and compliance readiness, enterprise procurement and commercial navigation, and enterprise technology implementation.
The initiative also includes a separate intensive accelerator track for ten companies. RedOwl’s selection is for the National Digital Track.
Founding Enterprise Partners include ANZ, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Cuscal, National Australia Bank and Westpac Banking Group. Their involvement brings financial services expertise and enterprise perspectives to the program. Gradient Institute, the initiative’s Delivery Partner, contributes technical expertise in responsible AI to help participating companies strengthen the evidence, governance and practices needed to build trust in their systems.
Trust and governance in finance
As AI changes the way finance teams work, trust and governance remain as important as technical capability. RedOwl is developing Real-Time Margin Leakage Prevention for the Office of the CFO, helping finance teams stop value loss before money moves.
Participation in the National Digital Track provides an opportunity for RedOwl to learn from industry leaders and deepen its understanding of enterprise requirements while continuing to develop AI that Australian businesses can rely on. The wider partnership aims to support enterprise evaluation, procurement readiness and potential commercial adoption; participation does not guarantee a pilot, procurement decision or commercial contract.
